TECHNIQUE
Introductory level for beginners, those who want to revisit basics or those coming back from injury, childbirth or illness. These classes introduce the basic principles of breath and alignment, and key postures (also known as asanas). Poses
are broken down and taught step by step.
PRACTICE
An open level class for those technically comfortable students interested in taking techniques towards mastery, play and challenge. In excess of six months and/or knowledge of poses, importance of breath linked to postures as well as core
and alignment principles known as Bhandas. This student knows the basic etiquette of practice: timely arrival and silent departure, the value of full, silent savasana, respect for self and other students by not talking. This Yogi knows not to
push themselves beyond the limits of a safe practice.
EVOLUTION
Classes for Yogis comfortable with flowing beyond the mechanics of more complex
asanas and variations, including full wheel, inversions, balancing poses, and
pranayama or breath-work techniques. This Yogi knows their own body and
honors its limitations.

ANUSARA
A system of hatha yoga that is heart-oriented, spiritually inspiring and yet grounded in a deep knowledge of outer and inner body alignment. Anusara integrates three key areas of practice: attitude, alignment and action. It is an all-inclusive yoga in which each student’s various abilities and limitations are deeply respected and honored.
ASHTANGA LED
The classical form of power yoga as taught in its traditional sequence. Combines power and flexibility with movement, bandhas and breath to produce an energetic and detoxifying practice. Shortened Primary and Finishing sequences.
BOLLYWOOD FUSION
One-hour class with fusion style choreography set to Bollywood tunes (Indian pop music). Vibrant, sensual and a powerful cardio workout for all levels of students to de-stress and detox.
CORE
This class is designed to wake up and bring life to the core! Abdominal postures and breathing techniques are incorporated into the class to strengthen the connection between the upper and lower body. Ideal for intermediate to advanced students who want to delve deeper into a healing yoga practice. This class is not for beginners or pregnant women.
DHARMA
This class is based on the classes and style of world-renowned instructor Dharma Mittra, who focuses on reintegrating the continuous flow of prana through the spinal column, emanating deep into all areas of the physical, metabolic, intuitive and bliss bodies. Practice of the carefully selected inspirational yoga postures strengthens and tones muscles, glands and internal organs. The postures are performed with slow graceful movements, so fantastic inner calm and self-control are felt immediately.
HATHA
A standard, all levels class. excellent conditioning for the body, breath and mind. Ideal for beginners.
HIP HOP
A dynamic synthesis of energetic movement and upbeat music. With fast-paced poses and pounding rhythms, this class will work the core and inspire the spirit.
HOT
A standard, all levels hot class conditioning the body and mind.
IYENGAR
Based on the principles of B.K.S. Iyengar, this class emphasizes attention to detail and precise alignment of postures. Poses are held longer and the use of props is encouraged to modify poses, if needed.
KUNDALINI
Often called "the yoga of awareness", Kundalini yoga is a physical and meditative discipline that utilizes breath, postures, movement, stretching and exercise to create a communication between the mind and body. This class focuses on psycho-spiritual growth and the body’s potential for maturation, giving special consideration to the role of the spine and the endocrine system in the understanding of awakening of the psychic centers or chakras.
LEARNING SESSIONS
In-depth class for students to focus one specific yoga technique or pose with significant time devoted to individual application, refinement and practice.
MEDITATION
The simple and direct practice of tranquil mindfulness and subtle integration of spirituality into one’s life. Through careful and sustained observation, this class allows students to experience the ever-changing flow of the mind/body process.
MYSORE
The traditional method by which Ashtanga yoga is taught in Mysore, South India. Students are individually and gradually taught the primary series of Ashtanga until they are able to practice the sequence from memory. When Primary series is complete, Intermediate series then follows. Class is open to anyone interested in learning this method. Students may arrive anytime within the first hour of the class.
NATAL
A moderately-paced class to prepare for birth or to stimulate post-natal recovery. Through a safe, modified practice emphasizing movement and breath, this class focuses on poses that build strength and stamina while stretching and opening the body. Students will cultivate breath techniques and relaxation exercises that help calm the mind. Modifications and enhancements are made for each side of birth.
POWER HOUR
A condensed dynamic intermediate level sequence of power yoga postures. This class introduces deeper postures, balancing postures and inverted poses.
PRANAYAMA, MEDITATION AND KIRTAN
This combination class is offered for students of all practice levels who are interested in more fully integrating their yogic transformation. Conscious relaxation through breath awareness is the goal. Kirtan is a Bhakti yoga practice of chanting Sanskrit mantras with music. Mantras carry sound vibrations that have a powerful healing effect on all levels of our being. Chanting Kirtan is like an active, effortless meditation that helps you dissolve thoughts, getting you out of your thinking mind and into the feeling heart space. Wonderful for stress release, mental relaxation, creating peace and calm within, cultivating joy and bliss - and enjoying a rather different and fun night out!
PUMPED UP PRANA
In this class, body and breath move as one to unite and purify mind, body, and spirit, enabling students to experience a personal connection to the universe. Pumped up prana is best for students who wish to both energize the body and calm the mind.
RESTORATIVE
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing way of practicing yoga. With the use of yoga props such as belts, blocks, blankets, bolsters and chairs, the student is able to achieve the form of the yoga pose without using much muscular strength. This enables the student to hold poses for a greater length of time and facilitates a deep release. Restorative yoga helps to soothe the nervous system, and calm and focus the mind. It is great for remedying jet lag, injuries and onset of cold or flu. It’s also a beneficial way to practice yoga during the menstrual cycle or to help counteract the effects of a busy stressful lifestyle.
VINYASA FLOW
Vinyasa is characterized by flowing poses and sequences that are linked to the breath. This class is diverse and sequencing will vary with instructor philosophy and in general is a vigorous, more athletic approach to yoga.
YIN/YANG
This class blends the elements of yin yoga with those of vinyasa flow. The class includes some slow deep hip opening stretches and moves into a movement practice of connecting postures through breath.
